The Ministry of Culture holds a virtual seminar on Wednesday to discuss the "Report on the State of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 2019: Facts and Figures,” with the participation of a number of heads of the cultural commissions. The seminar will address the cultural report along with its objectives and cognitive effects on the local cultural community.Four executives of cultural commissions will participate in the virtual seminar, which will be broadcast on the official channel of the Ministry of Culture on YouTube, including Sultan al-Bazai, CEO of the Theatre and Performing Arts Commission, Dr. Sumayah Al-Solaiman, CEO of the Architecture and Design Commission, Dr. Jasir Al-Harbash, CEO of the Heritage Commission, and Eng. Abdullah Al-Eyaf Al-Qahtani, CEO of the Film Commission, in an extensive discussion moderated by the host Khaled Aloqaily.The virtual seminar will review the most prominent indicators and figures in the report, the cultural status of the sub-sector according to each speaker's specialty, and the importance of the report as a starting point for developing the cultural sector in various directions and paths.It is worth noting that the Ministry of Culture published the full report on its website and digital platforms, including information and statistics on the status of Saudi cultural activity in the Kingdom until the end of 2019.
